Business Studies Teacher.

A Young Offenders Institute serving Kent and the surrounding areas (157 young men aged 15-18) is looking for a Business Studies Tutor to start as soon as possible. They require an experienced and qualified Business Studies Tutor who wants to help these troubled young people, seeing beyond their behaviour and find ways to connect with them and teach them. Through education you will help them rebuild their lives, in order to provide them with a second chance. You will have a relevant teaching qualification, such as QTS, Cert Ed, PGCE, BEd, C&G 7307/7407, and knowledge of the Adult Core Curriculum. All appointments are subject to an Enhanced Disclosure from the Criminal Records Bureau, dated within the last 6 months, or a new one will need to be undertaken, and necessary security checks processed. The role would offer 28 days annual leave, a Group Personal Pension Plan and excellent training opportunities.
